Youth in Action for Change 2015-2016

Beneficiaries Description: The project directly targets about 120 students of 3 universities of Gyumri, Gavar and Vanadzor and young adults of surrounding communities of the 3 universities; at least 90 graduates of those 3 universities/ cities who participated in CDA 2005-2015 projects. The total number of direct beneficiaries is 210 youth. 

Project Areas: Gegharkounik (Gavar), Shirak (Gyumri) and Lori (Vanadzor)

Project Goal: To promote youth (graduates and students of the universities) of Gyumri, Vanadzor and Gavar regions to identify and find solutions to problems in the spheres of Environment, Human Rights Promotion and Protection, and Economic Stability through collaboration and proactive participation in decision making. 

Project Objectives:

1. To enhance the knowledge and skills of nearly 90 graduates from the universities of the Gyumri, Vanadzor and Gavar regions in the areas of Environment, Human Rights Promotion and Protection, and Economic Stability to prioritize problematic issues in their regions and initiate activities directed to the solution of those issues.

2. To promote communication and collaboration among the youth of the targeted regions of Armenia and other related organizations working in the areas of Environment, Human Rights Promotion and Protection, and Economic Stability to involve all interested parties in thematic discussions and decision making.

3. To develop a network and contacts among the participant youth of the projects.
