Gevorg Sahakyan is a student at Talin High School. He participated in the Republican Debate Tournament for two consecutive years, winning the competition in 2024 and finishing as the runner-up in 2025. The program enhanced his research, analytical, and public speaking skills and fostered effective teamwork with respect for diverse opinions.
Gevorg is currently studying in the United States through the FLEX program. During the selection process, he highlighted his experience as a debate participant and a Republican Debate Tournament champion as one of his advantages over other applicants.
“Here, having your own opinion and being able to defend it convincingly is highly valued. I can confidently say that this ability was largely developed through debate. Today, I feel comfortable in diverse environments and can express my views with confidence,” Gevorg adds.
