Serving as the President of the Student Council and participating in the process of our school’s cooperation with Jinishian Memorial Foundation (JMF) was a pivotal and highly valuable experience for me. This project gave me the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the Student Council’s activities, to take part in a televised interview presenting the work of student councils, and to attend a Student Councils’ Summit, where the role of youth and leadership in the education system was discussed.
These experiences in the scope of the project significantly enhanced my public speaking skills, discussion facilitation, and representative competence. As a result, I came to realize that it is important for me not only to lead people, but also to be actively involved in the decision-making process.
“My work in the Student Council ultimately confirmed my professional choice: I found my future in political science. For this reason, I plan to continue my studies at university in the field of politics/political science, with the goal of serving the public and bringing about meaningful reforms in the future”- said Eliza.
