Expansion of Education, Cultural and Spiritual Program of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia

Beneficiaries Description: 65 pre-school children (aged 3-6) and 350 adolescents and young people from needy families

Project Goal: to accommodate more children and adults in the activities of the educational and cultural center after Aleksander Mantashyants of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia  for  pre-school age children (around 65), adolescents and young people (around 350) from socially vulnerable families and groups upbringing them with national and Christian spirit by increasing their national self-consciousness, as well as development of artistic and creativity skills and helping them in their effort of self-expression in society.

Project Objectives:

  • Provide educational and cultural activities for children, youth and adults through the Center after Aleksander Mantashayants of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia
  • Expand the space with additional 33 sq. meter to be available for the Center’s activities to accommodate more children and youth
  • Organize renovation work of the expanded territory of the Center  
  • Arrange the purchase and installation of necessary furniture and equipment in the expanded space of the Center
  • Organize pottery, painting, handicrafts and other classes for children
  • Deliver spiritual-cultural and patriotic education
  • Organize charity actions through entertainment programs
  • Provide spiritual education to the children living in further villages
  • Organize a pilgrimage visit to Mother Armenia for the children from Ozurgeti and surrounding villages
