Program
Jinishian Memorial Foundation’s (JMF) Study Tour Program is an ideal combination of experience sharing and learning about JMF distinguished projects while exploring and enjoying Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, renowned with their old history, traditions, Christian values, art, cultural events, food and fun. The program usually is 12 days and is tailored to each group’s specific needs beforehand. Thanks to your financial contribution included in the Study Tour Fee the proceeds will directly benefit a JMF project of your choosing after the study tour. Experience Sharing/Learning Activities
Our Study Tour provides a unique opportunity to explore JMF projects witnessing the changes JMF makes in the communities. You will see diversified urban and rural life and visit Armenian families, meet with high school and university students engaged in civic activities, meet and lunch (local food) with farmers in one of the organic gardens, meet JMF partners and stakeholders, learn and exchange your experience with people from this distinctive culture, while immersed in Armenian hospitality. Most importantly, discover ways you can be involved in making positive social change in Armenia.
Cultural Activities
Participate in excursions to historical sites and cultural attractions, visit Echmiadzin – the spiritual center of Armenia, spend three days in Nagorno-Karabakh, admiring its breathtaking landscapes, visit historical sites and ancient churches, shop in Armenia’s largest open air marketplace, the Vernissage, and discover Armenian carpets, local art work, handcrafted jewelry, wood carvings and ornaments, and more…
